Sky Flair is a family run company who utilise renewable and sustainable sources to provide our customers with effective but affordable heating, electricity and rainwater solutions in an ethical manner.
Retail Customers:- Have a browse around and feel free to give us a call if you want any further information. We don't do hard sell and our free, no obligation quotes are literally that. For installations will need to visit your property to understand your requirements and confirm suitable locations for things like solar panels and associated components however this will normally only take between 30 to 45 minutes. You will then receive a quote via post or email within 1 -2 days. We are MCS accredited for Solar Hot Water and Solar Photovoltaic systems so solar hot water installations will be elegible for the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and solar photovoltaics for the Clean Energy Cashback Scheme (also known as a Feed-in tarrif or FIT).

Solar Hot Water
You will often find companies who sell Flat Plate panels deriding Evacuated Tube panels and vice versa. Well both have advantages and disadvantages and as we sell both we can offer the best solution for your circumstances. All panels are MCS or Solar Keymark certified so you can be assured of their manufacturing quality and effectiveness.
Generally Evacuated Tube panels are more suited to our UK climate and will provide more hot water per m2 than flat plate panels however some people dont like their asthetics or are restricted in what they can install (i.e. listed building or are in a conservation area) when flat plate panels are ideal. We will provide you with the best solution for your requirements.

Solar Electricity (Photovoltaics)
Solar Photovoltaic panels (or PV for short) convert sunlight directly into electricity without any need for moving parts and produces no noise or emissions. All PV panels used in our installations are MCS certified.

Wind Turbines
Wind turbines come in 2 basic types - Horizontal Axis (HAWT) and Vertical Axis (VAWT).
The HAWT (left) is probably the most recognisable as being the type used in wind farms usually having 3 blades. VAWTs (right) on the other hand are more varied in their styles. Have a look at wind turbines for more details of their individual characteristics.
Rainwater Harvesting
Did you know that about 50% of your water needs do not need to be of drinking water quality (also referred to as Potable water)? Have a look at the table below to see what you can use rainwater for.
Capturing the water that falls on your roof can be as simple as adding water butts to your down-pipe to underground tanks which hold enough water to supply WC's and washing machines.

Underfloor Heating
Underfloor heating is an extremely efficient way of heating your home. Heat is radiated evenly across the whole floor and provides warmth from the floor up as opposed to traditional central heating which heats a room using convection and effectively provides heat from the top down. An added, and subtle, benefit is that it is invisible - no bulky radiator and pipes to site or design your room around!
Your body is most comfortable when your feet are warmer than your head so underfloor heating provides the most comfortable heating solution.
Stoves
The pellets these stoves burn are made from 100% left over wood (i.e. sawdust) compressed so that they hold together by the natural moisture in the wood. They burn extremely cleanly so you can use them in 'smoke free' areas and combust so completely that virtually no ash is left.
If that wasn't good enough the burning of these pellets only releases the same amount of CO2 that they previously took in when in the tree so they are completely carbon neutral.
