  • Energy crunch for UK power in seven years

  • Steve Holliday, chief executive of National Grid told the Times newspaper that Britain could face regular blackouts within seven years if the Government does not intervene to prevent an energy gap that will be created by future power station closures. The warning came after Ofgem, the energy industry regulator, said it was to consider fresh incentives to encourage the development of renewable energy schemes in Britain.
Worried about planning Permission?

Solar Flat Panels

Schuco Premium Line collectorThe high-performance SchücoSol, SchücoSol.1,SchücoSol.2 and SchücoSol W flat solar panels form the heart of the solar thermal transfer systems in the Premium line. In addition to maximum performance, their most impressive features are a long life, ease of installation, and the fact that up to 16 panels (depending on model) can be hydraulically connected and integrated into non-ventilated curtain walls without cold bridging. The slender aluminium frames in a wide range of anodised finishes and RAL colours ensure maximum design freedom.

  • High efficiency
  • All current installation methods
  • Maximum thermal insulation
  • Durable aluminium frames

Solar Photovoltaic panel

Schuco Premium line PV PanelA photovoltaic module consists of a large number of solar cells used to convert sunlight directly into electric current. The light impinges on the cells and the movement of electrons in the material produces a voltage. The resultant direct current is fed through string cables to inverters that convert it to AC suitable for the mains power supply. The solar electricity can then be used in the building and/or metered into the national grid and the owner reimbursed. A separate meter measures the consumption for which the owner is charged by the electricity company.

  • Large, powerful module with polycrystalline, high-performance solar cells
  • Schüco system frame allows roof-mounted, integrated roof, flat roof, canopy, whole roof and façade installations
  • High degree of design freedom when combined with Schüco solar panels and window units of the same size
  • Aluminium frame anodised or finished in RAL colours

Residential Roof Window

Schuco Premium line Roof window The Schüco residential roof window with its two separate top swing vents offers a clear view to the outside even with a solar energy system fitted to the roof. The same frame grid and connection system as the solar panels ensures trouble-free, elegant connection and integration with a Schüco flat solar panel or large photovoltaic module – installed either horizontally or vertically.
